About Merreley Donohue
 

Merreley is a Rolfer® of Structural Integration, a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, a Birth Doula, a Certified Co-active Coach (CPCC) and a Realization Process Embodiment Meditation Teacher. She has studied Somatic Practice® with Kathy Kain, Transforming Touch® with Stephen Terrell and is passionate about working with all ages of humans but particularly with Mother’s, babies and infants. Merreley has over 30 years of hands on body work experience, she works in person and online with clients creating a unique style that is specific to each individual’s healing. Merreley's integrative techniques allow ample room for collaboration, co-regulation and titration. She works with her clients to restore freedom of movement, proper alignmentt, resolving chronic stress patterns and bringing a more embodied sense of ease and balance to the nervous system, body, mind and spirit. Her work can be effective in easing chronic stress and trauma, chronic pain, with pregnancy or post-pregnancy issues, improving posture and alignment, helping ease headaches, pre and post-surgical issues, and to improve athletic performance.

Merreley has been studying and practicing various forms of bodywork and nervous system techniques since 1994. She graduated from the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute of Structural Integration in 2015, and completed her Somatic Experiencing Training in 2023. She is now assisting in the Somatic Experiencing® Trainings in Alaska, Colombia and online. Merreley has a love and passion for learning any and all things related to the nervous system, somatics, fascia, embodiment, meditation, non-duality, neuroscience, movement, dance, and nature. She loves skiing, snowboarding, hiking, walking, biking and being outside, reading and having fun connecting with the natural world with her partner, son and daughter.
